08.31.07 (12:58 am)   [edit]

Anyone who does a decent amount of filesharing is bound to take interest in the latest filesharing news. The tussle is likely to take on larger proportions as the days go by.

Music companies claim that they are being deprived of significant amounts of revenue. However, users love the concept. So filesharing news these days largely consists of legal suits that are slapped on filesharing programs by the big guns of the entertainment industry. Who will win in the end? The odds seem to be in favor of the filesharers.

Websites such as Ares.com which offer filesharing news are sold on the idea that tomorrow is the day and age of filesharing as being yet another means of distribution. What is the final verdict on this issue? Only time will tell.
